The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of personalities, and a exciting storyline including celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces expanding in influence within the urban setting.

Warning: Spoilers for the third episode of this adventure follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and revealed the first table of characters who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their separate journey, separate from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan (the actor).

The Reason for Division

With a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that having everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

That’s why, the initial installments of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

Per the DM, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might look unsuited, but the developments of episode 3 demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the group knows exactly where to head next after a brutal first encounter with the enemy group.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—manipulated the foes for his own means, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the character, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

Casimir then cleared his liabilities and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, north of Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each adventurer has a individual motive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, desires retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a hostile place.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to kill Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • However, their reputation as important members in the powerful family could enable the group reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, Teor pledged a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The cleric turned against the powerful family and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them no alternative but to travel to the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we learn that the combat party will be absent the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to round up the Explorers and Planners parties.

Viewers can anticipate learning which players will be where in the season’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
